The plan was to install a beautiful and safe artificial turf that will allow for unlimited practice and competition for many athletes, P.E. students, band members and youth sport participants. (*Band, Lacrosse, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Football, and Track & Field all benefit and create many more opportunities for Oxford Students.)

• The uses for a field go up dramatically when synthetic turf is installed.
• The number of events can go from 64 to 640 per year.
• Concession sales will increase which translates to more funding distributed to ALL athletics.
• Field maintenance costs will drop from 21k to 4k per year.
  
  

In addition, we hope to use the money to also install a new scoreboard and video display that will be unique to high school venues in this state. It will allow us to generate new revenue streams for all sports through the sale of video advertising for years to come.
